TGG honored with Biblical Stewardship Award
CSA Awards Honor Best in Biblical Stewardship
The Christian Stewardship recently honored three individuals and organizations for their exemplary biblical stewardship practices.
Presented at its annual conference before an audience of more than 500 Christian stewardship professionals, the award for Outstanding Stewardship Service Provider was given to The Goehner Group; the award for Outstanding Stewardship Educator was presented to Brian Kluth; and the award for Outstanding Development Practice by a Ministry was given to Campus Crusade for Christ International.
“The Christian Stewardship Association Awards Program is a time to acknowledge those individuals and ministries that exemplify their commitment to, and model, biblical stewardship,” said CSA Board Chair, Ned Kiser. “The people and organizations honored this year demonstrate the spirit of biblical stewardship.”
The Goehner Group, honored as Outstanding Stewardship Service Provider, was recognized as an organization whose focus is helping ministry members implement biblical stewardship practices within ministries. Company president Don Goehner accepted the award on behalf of his organization, which is based in San Jose, Calif. The Goehner Group assists organizations in identifying and implementing resource development, marketing and management solutions. The firm provides church, parachurch and non-profit clients with professional services, including consultation, research, planning, recruiting, training and coaching.
Warm Beach Christian Camp (Stanwood, Wash.) has been a longtime friend and client of The Goehner Group. Nancy Nelson, development director, said:
“Congratulations! News just reached Camp about the award you folks received from CSA! I am grateful that the Lord provided me with the very best development training available. And, on top of that, you are part of the Warm Beach Family! Thanks for all you do for WBC! Thanks for being a part of my life.”
